If you really care about the truth, you will want people to believe it. Say it, then, in a way that makes it as hearable as possible. Words take craftsmanship. You need truthful words. You need kind and gentle words. And you need apt, appropriate, beautiful words.
Tim Keller

Humor is the spiciest condiment in the feast of existence. Laugh at your mistakes, but learn from them. Joke over your troubles but gather strength from them. Make a joke of your difficulties, but overcome them.
Lucy Maud Montgomery

My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it anything like right, the chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours.

BIO
Growing up, I compensated for a rather uneventful childhood by immersing myself in the captivating world of books. My love of reading was surpassed only by a passion for writing - journals, anecdotes, songs, stories, and poetry. After receiving a degree in English Language and Literature from Northwest Nazarene University, I devoted the next twenty-odd years to raising (and occasionally homeschooling) my four children...scratching the writing itch with periodic blogging...dreaming all the while of the imaginary stories I would someday bring to life.
Finding myself with an almost-empty nest, I am currently pursuing my goal of becoming a published author. My love of romantic suspense (the by-product of a childhood affinity for the adventurous Nancy Drew and the romantically-inclined Anne of Green Gables) has inspired me to pen my first novel in that genre.
I currently reside in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband, my youngest son, and my Mini Australian Shepherd, where I spend an inordinate amount of time vacuuming up dog hair, crocheting useless items, and updating my Spotify playlist.
